01Steel storage buildings · 3D builder
Design your storage building. Walk around it. Roll up the doors.
Pick one of our nine engineered plans, choose your steel colors, and see it on the ground before we build it. When it looks right, add it to your quote.
Tap View in your yard to stand this building on your own ground through your phone's camera.
Typical design values for comparison — we confirm your site with you.
The 3D view needs WebGL, which this browser has turned off. Every building is still listed below with its floor plan, and you can still ask for a quote.
02The plan set
Every building, on paper. Open any sheet in the builder.
These are our own plan sheets, drawn from the same plans the builder uses: a floor plan with every unit, a view of each end, and the sizes on the tape. They are illustrative — for construction drawings we work from your site and order. Find a plan that fits, then open it in 3D.
03On your lot
See it on your own ground
Find your address or town and tap your property to outline it. Slide the map until the orange building sits where it will go, and turn it so the doors face the way you want. You'll see how far it is from the lot lines, then see it standing on the aerial photo of that spot.
The aerial photo is a few years old and accurate to a few feet. Check property lines and setbacks with your county before you set a building.

04If you rent it out
What could this building earn?
Every unit has its own roll-up door, so each one can be rented on its own. Set the rents to what storage units go for near you, and how full you expect it to be.
Rents shown first are examples, not a promise of income. Check local storage rents, zoning and taxes before you buy.

05Nine engineered plans
Every building is 10 feet deep. Pick the length and how it is split.
Each plan below is drawn to scale from above. Orange marks are roll-up doors. One building can hold one big unit or up to seven lockers you rent out separately.
06About Us
Steel sheds, engineered to last.
Portable Steel Sheds builds steel storage buildings from nine engineered plans: one big unit or up to seven lockers in a single building, on a self-leveling floor, rated for wind up to 115–135 mph and a 90 lb snow load.
Design yours in the 3D builder, see it on your own lot, and send it to us for a quote at portablesteelsheds.com.
